Costa Rica
February 9-17,2008
Despite more rain than would be expected in the middle of the "dry" season, our group of 13 had
a fabulous time.
We visited a Waterfall Garden where we could actually enter the Butterfly and Orchid House and the Toucan Cage; hiked to a
Volcano; walked on bridges and platforms and zipped through a Cloud Forest; took a Boat Ride through an Estuary full of Monkeys,
Boas, Crabs and termites; and walked though a Rain Forest whose trees were filled with Sloths, Bats, Birds and even an Anteater.
Some of us also went Horseback Riding and Whitewater Rafting. This was an adventuresome group!
